The Alexander Hotel for persons with disabilities is the housing estate of Alexander Group which was created with a remarkable well-beloved concept:

With the aim of improving the quality of life of thousands of our fellow-citizens with mobility problems, 8 aesthetic ground floor residences with 50sq.m with distinct names of historic villages of Amari municipality (Meronas, Thronos, Agia Fotini, Opsigias, Genna, Amari, Agioi Apostoloi and Gerakari), with two rooms each and fully-equipped kitchen and W.C. were designed exclusively according to the specifications that guarantee comfort and safe stay for persons with disabilities and for the person accompanying them. The large doors, the special handles and sloping ground, the right heights and widths and their swimming pool with its specially designed corridor for easy descent and ascension, are the standard elements that make the holidays possible and enjoyable for persons with disabilities.
The provisions of each PWDs residence include:

Additional provisions for PWDs:
- Transportation with luxury van for PWDs from and to all harbours, airports and sightseeing in Crete.
- Medical Care
The Elderly Care Unit ‘Gerakari Agkali Homes’ is very close to Alexander Hotel for PWDs, but operates completely independently and in accordance with the high international standards. It can provide real medical care and ambulance in emergency situations.
*Apart from enjoying nature abundantly, your stay at the Alexander Group Complex includes physical activities, such as tennis court, basketball court, gym room and swimming pool for swimming and sunbathing in the central hotel "Alexander Hotel". All the equipment of the group is fully accessible with ramps, lift and handles.
